Job summary

Nominal is seeking a Software Engineering intern for Summer 2027 in an in-office role across multiple U.S. offices. You will work closely with world-class engineers on high-impact hardware data projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving early-stage environment.

You will own projects end-to-end, collaborate with customers, and contribute to new product features while gaining mentorship and exposure to the testing and validation landscape for complex hardware systems.

Qualifications

• Solid engineering fundamentals.
• On track to graduate Summer 2028 or sooner.
• Hands-on experience via internships, personal projects, or academic work.
• Ambitious, resourceful and perseverant as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Dive into high-frequency, high-volume multi-modal hardware data infrastructure.
• Design and build new features in collaboration with customers and end users.
• Own projects from start to finish with mentorship from senior engineers.
• Help Nominal grow by onboarding customers and expanding product offerings.
