You will design, test, and maintain vehicle control software for trucks and systems, working on projects from simple tasks to complex analytics. The role emphasizes writing high-quality C++ software, development of configuration tools, and collaboration across teams, with a pay range of $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with C or C++ programming.
• Experience writing embedded applications on microcontrollers.
• Experience with CAN and J1939 protocol.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write quality, maintainable, object-oriented C++ software for vehicle control.
• Develop and maintain PC programs for truck-specific programming configuration.
• Identify and control vehicle operation and maintenance risks.
• Document software configurations supporting truck programming.
