Iaas Lc in Playa Vista, CA is seeking a software engineer to help build internal platforms for analytics, reporting, and insights. You will design APIs and backend services, and contribute to distributed, event-driven systems that scale data processing.

Ideal candidates have strong C# and .NET skills, solid SQL knowledge, and familiarity with web basics. The role is primarily on-site three days per week, with a culture famed for growth, collaboration, and enterprise-grade cloud platforms.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Contribute to developing internal platforms and services for analytics, reporting, and business insights.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services connecting multiple data sources and systems.
• Work on distributed, event-driven applications that process and deliver data at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering, data engineering, and data science teams to support machine learning and analytics initiatives.
• Gain experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based applications and services.
• Participate in evolving scalable system architectures, data pipelines, and platform capabilities.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Experience with C# and .NET development (required).
• Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, including database design and query writing.
• Familiarity with web development basics: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals: source control, debugging, and object-oriented programming.
• Rising seniors or new graduates pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Local to Playa Vista HQ and willing to work onsite three days a week.

• Bonus points for experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Exposure to Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, Amazon SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of REST APIs and distributed system concepts.
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker.
