Job summary

Ibotta in Denver is seeking a junior software developer or student intern who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/SE. You will join a cross-functional team to design, develop, and release features used by millions of users.

You will gain hands-on experience with Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, and TypeScript, work with AWS infrastructure, participate in system designs and code reviews, and leverage AI tools to prototype and test code.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in CS/SE/CE or related field.
• Ability to think creatively and implement ideas end-to-end.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate with teammates.
• Exposure to Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of testing and CI/CD concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Foundational knowledge of database design and querying.
• Exposure to AI tools for prototyping, writing, testing, debugging, and understanding code.
• Must live in the United States and be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
