Job summary

Amazon's AWS Supply Chain Automation team is seeking experienced Software Development Engineers to design and implement distributed SCM systems on the AWS Cloud. You will drive requirements, architecture, and coding across backend workflows and customer‑facing UIs in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with cross‑team stakeholders, influence architecture roadmaps, and lead by example while delivering scalable, high‑performance services that impact thousands of developers and businesses

Qualifications

3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products to market.
Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment and lead fundamental changes.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems at scale and speed.
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault‑tolerant and low cost.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality software.
