Job summary

CDPHP is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to projects across the software development lifecycle. You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to communicate status and proposals, while developing software and assisting with testing and validation.

The role emphasizes collaboration, basic security awareness, and adherence to IT processes. A degree or equivalent experience is required, with opportunities to grow across multiple technology stacks.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or related field; in lieu of a degree, three years of experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#/.NET, Java, SQL, C++, Python, Visual Basic or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of one of Informatica, CI/CD, Pega, Power BI, Cognos.
• Basic knowledge of Unix or Windows operating systems.
• Basic database experience.
• Basic understanding of software testing and quality.
• Demonstrated basic ability to communicate and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Develops code, analyzes, researches, and resolves system issues.
• Participates in on-call production support rotation.
• Maintains and follows IT processes, documentation, and code reviews.
• Communicates with team and stakeholders to understand requirements and impacts.
• Assists in creating work plans and specifications.
• Develops skills in a tool and source control usage.
