Job summary

Synergy ECP in Maryland seeks a Software Engineer Level 3 to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software systems for national security programs. This role requires strong C/C++ and Java skills, Unix/Linux experience, and ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance and a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SWE experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Strong experience in C/C++, Unix, scripting, and Java development.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with system engineers.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and modern development tools.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and message queues is a plus.
