JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Commercial and Investment Bank technology teams.

You will design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way, working within an agile team to support multiple business functions across the firm’s technology landscape. Expect collaboration with product and engineering teams to build high-performing digital experiences on the AEM platform.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with modern programming languages and database querying in a large corporate environment.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with evaluation of outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains responsive algorithms.
• Builds scalable applications with product and engineering teams for a digital platform delivering content and experiences.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and productivity with peer review and automated testing.
• Applies SDLC tools and practices to improve automation and value realization.
• Works with a 3–4 member team and stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Writes reusable, testable, and efficient code and contributes to performance optimization.
