ModivCare Solutions LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications. You will participate in full software lifecycle activities, collaborate with architects, and mentor junior engineers to support organizational growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of experience with databases, APIs, source control, CI/CD, and EDI HIPAA transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or foreign equivalent in CS/IT/MIS or related field.
• 5 years of experience in job offered or related position.
• 36 months with enterprise relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2).
• 24 months implementing SOA & REST-based APIs.
• 12 months with modern source control systems & branching concepts.
• 12 months with release management including CI/CD.
• 36 months following test-driven development with unit testing/mocking.
• 36 months developing EDI interfaces and HIPAA transaction sets.
• 36 months with RedPoint/CorePoint/Edifecs EDI solutions.
• 24 months with IT dept source control, ALM, and release management.
• 36 months with high issue resolution and solutioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications for enterprise needs.
• Lead design discussions and document functional/technical specifications.
• Execute full software development lifecycle including testing and debugging.
• Administer release management, including version control and CI/CD.
• Mentor junior engineers and present demonstrations to leadership.

Software Engineer III wanted by ModivCare Solutions LLC in Denver, CO. 40hrs/wk.

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and maintain software applications using programming and scripting languages, business process toolsets, data modeling techniques, and reporting tools to support enterprise needs. Implement new system modules and data layouts by leading design discussions, collaborating with software architects, and documenting functional and technical specifications. Execute full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, unit and functional testing, debugging, and partnering with Quality Assurance to resolve defects. Administer release management processes, including version control, continuous integration and continuous deployment activities, and coordinates with IT teams to ensure successful installation and functioning of applications. Mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct technology overview sessions, and present software demonstrations to leadership and product stakeholders in support of organizational growth and knowledge sharing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position.

SPECIAL SKILLS OR REQUIREMENTS:

• 36 months of experience with enterprise relational database systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• 24 months of experience implementing and designing Service-Oriented Architectures using SOAP protocol and REST-based APIs.
• 12 months of experience working with modern source control systems and applying branching concepts.
• 12 months of experience with release management processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• 36 months of experience following test-driven development processes, including mastery of unit testing and mocking frameworks.
• 36 months of experience developing EDI interfaces and HIPAA-compliant transaction sets.
• 36 months of experience with RedPoint, CorePoint, or Edifecs EDI solutions.
• 24 months of experience with the IT department’s source control system, application lifecycle management toolset, and the release management process.
• 36 months of experience with high issue resolution, coupled with high level of solutioning.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Annual Salary:

$164,112.00 - $170,100.00
