Job summary

Oceaneering seeks a software engineer in Maryland to design, implement, and integrate software CSU components within a DoD-focused program. You will collaborate with the software team to ensure quality and traceability from requirements through testing.

Required are 2+ years of C# lifecycle experience, MS 365 proficiency, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain DoD clearance. Some travel and offshore support may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in a STEM discipline; commensurate experience considered.
• 2+ years of C# software lifecycle engineering experience.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance; US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Apply working knowledge of the software lifecycle.
• Design, write and integrate software CSU’s to the defined software architecture.
• Lead small subgroups or efforts within a program’s software team.
• Prepare reports and present results to stakeholders.
• Support software testing on the factory floor, offsite, and offshore.
