Job summary

Oceaneering seeks a Project Systems Engineer to guide MBSE-driven design activities under the Design Engineering Manager. You will lead collaborations with Navy, DoD, and commercial stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met.

We value strong SysML expertise, model-based systems engineering, and experience delivering complex system architectures. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering is preferred.
• OMG SysML certification preferred.
• Proficiency with SysMLv2, UAF, DoDAF, UML, and SoaML is desirable.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
• Minimum 5 years in Systems Engineering with MBSE, requirements management, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead and execute MBSE-based system development and implementation planning.
• Prepare and maintain concepts of operations, interface control documents, hazard analyses, and test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team across naval, mechanical, electrical, software, and cybersecurity domains.
• Develop and review system engineering documentation and reports for management and clients.
• Travel may be required; perform additional duties as assigned.
