MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the Office of Personnel and Facility Clearances and Classification (OPFCC), NA-74, in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires handling DOE security requirements and working within an NA-IM framework.

This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in CS or related field, 2+ years in similar roles, Agile experience, and active DOE Q/Top Secret clearance with SCI

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar role; an additional four years may substitute for education.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes and best practices.
• Active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements and create technical solutions with programming code, databases and user interfaces.
• Abide by NA-IM security and process requirements.
• Ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are well known to the team.
• Preparation of business requirement documents as directed.
