Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, development, and review of fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures; propose design improvements.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Design, develop, analyze, document, and test products, systems or subsystems.
• May use CAD/CAE or other design/analysis software.
• Provide progress reports and status updates to stakeholders.
• Review customer specs and develop designs that meet requirements and cost targets.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design tasks.
• Evaluate supplier components and services.
• Support design-to-cost and design-for-manufacture considerations.
• Develop prototypes to retire key development risks.
• Communicate clearly with team and customers.
• Assist in proposals and provide technical knowledge when needed.
