Job summary

SHINE Systems in Manassas, VA is seeking a software engineer to contribute to real-time TSG-style systems for naval readiness. You will work across Java, React, C++, and other modern languages in a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or CS and have about 5 years of relevant experience.

U.S. security clearance eligibility is required, with company-supported IAT Level I certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or CS or equivalent software development background.
Approximately 5 years hands-on experience in at least one of: real-time acoustic signal processing, parallel processing, microservices, or signal/data visualization systems.
Must be able to obtain U.S. security clearance and be willing to earn IAT Level I certification after hire.

Responsibilities

Work within an integrated team environment on a large-scale program.
Own and deliver software solutions in Java, React, C++, and other modern languages.
Learn and apply new technologies (e.g., Angular, Rust, Scala) to evolving needs.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues with efficient solutions.
Travel occasionally to Manassas, VA for integration and team collaboration.
