Job summary

Amazon in Austin, TX is seeking an SDE II to join the Operations Infrastructure Services team. You will build automation for onboarding workflows, develop features for the onboarding platform, and design scalable services that integrate with Amazon's network infrastructure to speed deployments across global fulfillment centers.

Daily work includes collaborating with security and deployment teams, reviewing code, and contributing to robust testing and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience for distributed systems.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software.
Experience with at least one major programming language.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automation for network onboarding workflows that serve thousands of fulfillment centers globally.
Develop features for onboarding and connectivity management platform for same-day onboarding experiences.
Design scalable backend systems and APIs that integrate with Amazon's network infrastructure.
Partner with security, network engineering, and deployment teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability of onboarding systems.
Write clean, well-tested code with documentation and CI/CD pipelines.
