Job summary

Coreforce is seeking a Software Engineer II in Atlanta (Hybrid) to design, build, and deploy scalable backend services in Java with Spring Boot and modern frontend features in TypeScript using Vue or React. You will own microservices, optimize SQL/NoSQL data stores, and participate in CI/CD and code reviews.

You’ll work with AWS or Azure, contribute to event-driven architecture, and collaborate with product, design, and QA to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Professional experience building production applications in Java with Spring Boot and/or TypeScript.
• Experience developing frontend applications with Vue or React.
• Deep knowledge of SQL database design and query optimization.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB or Redis.
• Hands-on with AWS or Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Git workflows and agile/scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver features end-to-end from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Own and maintain microservices within a broader architecture.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and backend services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop frontend features using TypeScript with Vue or React.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Contribute to event-driven components using SNS/SQS, EventBridge, or Kafka.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, design and QA.
• Write tests and ensure adequate test coverage across stacks.
• Deploy and monitor services on AWS or Azure; address issues promptly.
• Contribute to technical docs and runbooks.
