Job summary

Captivation Software LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, and support scalable Linux-based systems. You will work with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, LLMs, and CI/CD in a mission-critical HPC environment.

You should be proficient in secure SI practice, deploy production-ready containerized apps, and contribute to observability with Grafana/Prometheus. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux development and administration experience.
• Proficient in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Experience with Helm charts and production containerized apps.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support solutions in HPC Linux environments.
• Work with LLMs, RAG architectures, embedding models and vector databases.
• Develop containerized applications and ensure production readiness.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and observability solutions.
