Job summary

RPMGlobal in Bethesda, MD is seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices platform for mission-critical environments.

You will work with Kubernetes, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana, Kafka, Helm, and GitLab to build scalable pipelines, CI/CD automation, and resilient infrastructure.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, Linux proficiency, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in the field
• Strong Linux proficiency
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional engineering environments

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture on Kubernetes
• Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes
• Design, develop, and support scalable infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions
