Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a senior system engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture for mission-focused platforms. You will manage production pipelines on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, while advancing CI/CD, Helm configurations, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, security, and operations teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, ten years of relevant experience, and strong Linux plus containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in the field required
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Polygraph required
• Strong Linux proficiency expected
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes essential
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab imperative
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana recommended
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps scripts and processes
• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure
• Configure Kubernetes deployments with Helm
• Collaborate with multiple engineering and security teams
• Participate in Agile release planning and related meetings
