Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking an experienced full-time engineer to support the NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform and D3P Modernization. You will design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kafka, and drive CI/CD improvements in a mission-focused environment.

The role requires strong Linux, container/Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on experience with GitLab, Helm, and related tooling.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of ten years of experience in the category field.
Strong Linux proficiency.
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using microservices on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka.
Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure including physical and virtual environments.
Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features.
Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions, and related meetings
