Mapfre is seeking an Engineer II/III to advance our Claims technology platform by delivering scalable, data-driven software that improves claims processing and decision-making. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing software solutions with relevant languages and principles.
- Experience in Agile environments and using Jira, Confluence, Lucid, GitHub, and Microsoft Copilot to support planning, design, documentation, development, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technical design discussions.
- Design, develop, implement, and test complex software solutions using modern engineering practices and TDD.
- Create unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering excellence.
- Build solutions aligned with MAPFRE's IT strategy and select appropriate tools.
