Job summary

Vertafore is seeking a Software Engineer II to join an energetic agile team. You will develop high quality web-based applications for new and existing features, working across the full stack and collaborating with teammates to deliver robust solutions.

You will contribute to multiple functional areas, write well-tested code, and mentor others while exploring new technologies to enhance products for insurers, agencies, and carriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience with Java/.NET and common frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript. React.js or similar.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to multiple functional and technical areas within a product.
• Develops new features and fixes bugs.
• Writes unit and integration tests.
• Participates in code reviews and mentoring.
