Job summary

Reflexive Concepts in Laurel, MD seeks a skilled Software Engineer II/III to develop analytics and tools for compliance and business processing. You will prototype automation methods and test ML/AI approaches in a research environment.

The role may be filled at Software Engineer II or III level and requires strong software development in Java and Scala, with Python, ML tooling, Linux experience, and familiarity with data analytics workflows. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 4 extra SWE years may substitute for degree.
• 14 years SWE experience for level II or 20 years for level III in similar programs.

Responsibilities

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II/III to join our team!
Candidate shall develop, enhance, and prototype compliance and business processing analytics and tools. Develop new methods for automating compliance functions and improve existing methods. Candidate will investigate, integrate, and test compliance modernization Machine Learning/AI algorithms and research proof-of-concepts in the RD environment. Candidate will develop models and implement appropriate metrics and monitoring of developed tools, functions, and data flows.
This position is a flexible labor category and may be filled at the Software Engineer II or Software Engineer III level.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph
• Software Engineer II: Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, OR
• Software Engineer III: Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
