Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Government & Public Services GPS team in the United States. You will contribute to Human Services Transformation projects that modernize eligibility systems and benefits workflows for federal, state, and local agencies.

You will work on system implementation, operations, and maintenance, collaborating with analysts and clients to deliver reliable solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
• Experience with systems implementation, operations, or help desk is preferred.
• Ability to travel 0–25%, on average, based on client needs and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support systems implementation, operations and maintenance, and application support activities
• Contribute to workstreams involving help desk operations and software development and maintenance
• Complete tasks and deliverables to support project timelines and quality standards
• Review work products for accuracy and identify issues for escalation
• Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to support project execution
