Job summary

Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, build, and operate mission-critical services powering our automation products across distributed systems. You will collaborate with product, hardware, and operations teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to scalable architecture, quality, and production operations.

Travel up to 10% including occasional international trips may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software/Systems Eng or related field; Master's preferred.
2+ years professional software development experience delivering complex systems.
Strong OO design and clean code practices.
Experience with REST APIs.
Experience across full SDLC including CI/CD.
Experience writing automated tests at multiple levels.
Ability to instrument and monitor services for production ops.
Understanding of security and data privacy best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and influence decisions.
