Job summary

Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions in Mesa, AZ is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to design, build, and support mission-critical services powering automation products. You will implement well-scoped stories under guidance from senior engineers and collaborate with product, QA, and field teams to deliver incremental improvements.

You will follow coding standards, write unit tests, participate in CI pipelines, and grow familiarity with security practices and SDLC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
0-2 years of professional software development experience.
Experience with at least one modern language and OO fundamentals.
Familiarity with REST APIs (consuming/implementing).
Exposure to SDLC practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
Ability to write unit tests and some integration tests.
Basic debugging using logs and metrics.
Secure coding awareness and privacy practices.
Strong collaboration and communication in a team.

Responsibilities
