The role emphasizes hands-on coding, ownership of moderate-scale projects, and collaboration with product engineering teams to reduce recurring developer pain while enabling AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals and practical systems thinking.
• Ability to read, modify, test, and review service code in a large shared codebase.
• Comfortable learning quickly and diving deep into a monorepo.

Responsibilities

• Improve core developer workflow: build, test, package, and validate changes.
• Contribute to shared engineering foundations and common libraries.
• Make CI faster and more reliable with better tooling and processes.
• Create leverage for product engineers by building durable platform improvements.
• Apply AI to engineering problems to accelerate development while ensuring safety.
