Job summary
Iterable, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer II on the Developer Platform Team. You will improve Scala, Bazel, and CI foundations used by engineers to build, test, and ship services.
You will own moderate projects and contribute to core libraries, while partnering with product teams to make developer workflows faster and more reliable. You will help shape how the company uses AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate complex platform work, automate tasks, and deliver safer, repeatable
Qualifications
- Strong engineering fundamentals with practical systems thinking.
- Experience reading, modifying, testing service code in a large codebase.
- Ability to debug build/test and developer workflow failures.
- Product-minded focus on usability, adoption, and efficiency.
- Comfort using AI tools for real engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Improve core developer workflow for compiling, testing, packaging changes.
- Contribute to shared engineering foundations and common libraries.
- Make CI faster and more reliable with better feedback loops.
- Turn pain points into durable tools, docs, and automation.
