Job summary

Bentley Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II with 4+ years’ experience for the Digital Experience Engineering Portals Team. You will build robust React components and backend APIs on Azure, collaborating with a global team to deliver excellent UI and scalable infrastructure.

The role involves contributing to front-end and back-end components, CI/CD practices, and mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid environment (Exton or Philadelphia).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, OS concepts and OO programming.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of front-end and back-end software components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design patterns, coding practices and delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews and troubleshooting for quality code.
• Work in an agile CI/CD environment and embrace automation practices.
• Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and improve skills.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
