Crusoe is hiring a Software Engineer II to help Crusoe Cloud’s container registry scale, perform reliably, and stay observable in production. You will contribute to registry components on the critical path for deployments and job launches, ensuring fast and trustworthy workloads.

The role emphasizes building scalable, observable software with a focus on reliability and cross-team collaboration. A strong background in distributed systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in microservices and cloud-native infrastructure technologies.
• Customer-focused mindset ensuring platform reliability for users.

Responsibilities

• Build at scale: contribute to and own components behind Crusoe Cloud’s managed container registry.
• Ship end-to-end: own features across the full lifecycle from design to operation.
• Tackle hard problems: address cloud provider challenges with pragmatic designs.
• Collaborate across teams: align with product and platform teams to serve customers and operations.
• Build for reliability: write maintainable software with observability baked in.
• Raise the bar operationally: make systems safer, faster, and easier to run.
