Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Global Payments healthcare payments division in Irvine, CA. You will design and deliver secure, scalable software solutions within an agile team, contributing to AI/GenAI-enabled workflows and cloud-native services on AWS.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Solid experience in C# and .NET technologies
• Proficient in relational databases and SQL
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
• Experienced with AWS services and cloud-native patterns for deployment, monitoring, and scalability
• Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
• Exposure to CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Write secure, clean, and maintainable code in C#/.NET with increasing autonomy
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development and automation, to improve value
• Uses AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, with peer review and automated testing
• Contribute to design and integration of AI/ML and GenAI into payment workflows
• Build cloud-native services on AWS with patterns for deployment, observability, resiliency, and scalability
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
• Learns and applies processes for secure, stable code and systems
• Applies SDLC tools knowledge to improve automation
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
