Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Irvine, CA, seeks a Dev Ops Software Engineer II - .NET/C# to join the Healthcare Payments team. You will contribute as an emerging member of an agile team delivering trusted, secure, scalable technology products across the full SDLC.

You will design, code, test, and troubleshoot while advancing CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and velocity within a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
• Solid experience in C# and .NET technologies.
• Proficient in relational databases and SQL.
• Experienced with AWS services and cloud-native patterns for deployment, monitoring, and scalability.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and with CI/CD, security.
• Experience in large corporate environments with one or more modern programming languages and DB querying languages.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
• Drive automation and CI/CD improvements, including pipeline reliability, quality gates, testing strategy, and repeatable environment provisioning to support safe and fast delivery.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development to improve value realized by automation.
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
• Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in secure, stable app development.
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure, stable code and systems.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
