JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer II in Irvine to join our Global Payments/Healthcare payments team. You will design, develop, and deliver trusted technology solutions in a secure, scalable manner, contributing across the SDLC and collaborating within an agile environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Proficient in C# and .NET technologies.
Relational databases and SQL experience.
Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation ability.
Experience with AWS and cloud-native deployment patterns.
Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).

Responsibilities

Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
Writes secure, clean C#/.NET code with increasing autonomy.
Applies AI-assisted development/automation tools to improve value and speed.
Learns and validates outputs from AI tools via peer reviews, tests, and secure coding.
Contributes to AI/ML and GenAI capabilities in payment workflows.
Builds cloud-native services on AWS with observability and resiliency.
Designs and troubleshoots with upstream/downstream system considerations.
Learns secure development processes for stable code and systems.
