Job summary

7-Eleven's RIS Store Technology team seeks a mid-level software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable store-focused software. You will collaborate with tech-managers, architects, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality applications and drive improvements across the lifecycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, champion best practices, and contribute to CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or Master's with 4+ years.
• 5+ years of ReactJS and Node experience.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, distributed systems, microservices.
• Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and platform engineering.
• JavaScript and TypeScript experience; NPM.
• AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, and related services.
• AWS tools: CloudFront, SNS, SES, SQS, CloudFormation.
• Unit testing frameworks and scripting experience.
• RESTful web services development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software features and enhancements.
• Develop, test, and deploy reliable, scalable applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
