Job summary

GM Financial Technology is seeking an SDE II to develop features across data marketplaces, mobile and web apps, and API services. The role emphasizes cloud migration, automated pipelines with tests and security controls, and a production-first mindset to ensure scale, uptime, and rapid issue resolution.

You will contribute to Agile processes, collaborate across teams, and drive learning and experimentation to accelerate cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.</br>Strong command of modern languages and cloud patterns.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments and automated pipelines.
• Proven ability to build features across mobile, web, and API services.

Responsibilities

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile apps, web apps, and API services.
• Migrate products to public cloud within the team when appropriate.
• Invest in learning and experimentation to speed cloud implementations.
• Create automated pipelines with tests and security controls.
• Contribute to test automation and peer reviews to improve quality.
• Maintain production-first mindset for scale, uptime, and triage.
