Job summary

Schneider Electric in Dallas, TX is seeking an Engineer II for Building Controls to lead advanced programming and commissioning of building automation systems. The role emphasizes independence, decision-making, and delivering high-quality control solutions for commercial facilities.

The candidate will work with Tridium Niagara and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation, coordinating with customers and internal teams to meet project specs, budgets, and schedules while driving system

Qualifications

Experience in programming per specifications, budgets and schedules.
Strong ability to communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers and team members.
Experience with programming, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.

Responsibilities

Programming, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
Configuring, programming, and customizing control systems to meet project needs.
Create software programs and front-end graphics.
Commissioning on projects.
Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure full system operation.
Provide system diagnostics and suggest performance improvements.
Coordinate customer training and complete closeout documents.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and staff.
