Job summary

Parsec Automation, LLC (Parsec) is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the TrakSYS development team in Anaheim, CA. You will design, develop, document, and test the TrakSYS platform, writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to technical specifications.

You will work with a cross-functional team, applying Parsec methodologies and AI-assisted practices while growing skills in cloud technologies and manufacturing software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in a related field.
• Strong familiarity with Windows client and server operating systems; experience with SDLC tools and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and test the TrakSYS platform as part of a development team.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Learn and apply the Parsec development methodology and related tools.
• Evaluate tradeoffs of different technical approaches and drive solutions to completion.
• Take ownership of assigned features and document technical specifications.
• Perform peer code reviews on pull requests and use AI-augmented development practices.
• Create and execute test cases and assist the support team with issues.
