Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, test, and install software solutions. Under general supervision, you will contribute to information systems by analyzing requirements and implementing changes to improve operations.

Responsibilities include resolving trouble tickets, providing production support, coding, testing, and migrating fixes with limited supervision. You will work with back-end and front-end languages, follow design specs, and participate in reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience in software development and support.
• Fundamental knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
• Intermediate knowledge of client/server networks and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manages trouble ticket resolution for multiple applications.
• Provides production support by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, and migrating fixes.
• Develops, tests, and maintains software following design specifications.
• Performs unit tests and code reviews; participates in peer reviews.
