Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to design, development, testing, and maintenance of the Batch Portal platform within an Agile team. You will translate requirements into code using Java or similar, implement batch jobs and plugins, and uphold unit testing, code reviews, and documentation to ensure reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience delivering production-quality software using Java or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of OO design, data structures, and SDLC.
• Experience with unit testing, source control (Git), and CI practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain batch processing components and scheduled jobs.
• Translate product requirements into software designs and working code.
• Conduct code reviews, write tests, and document software.
• Fix moderately complex bugs and analyze issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and operations in an Agile environment.
• Stay current with batch processing and data pipeline technologies.
