Job summary

Liberty Health is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II in Wilmington, NC. You will design, develop, and deliver features for in-house software applications with end-to-end ownership from design through deployment.

You will review code, mentor peers, and contribute to architecture while collaborating with testers and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. The role requires strong proficiency in C#, TypeScript, SQL, and Azure, with experience in CI/CD and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with C#/.NET and TypeScript.
• 3+ years in agile software development.
• 2+ years developing apps on Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features for in-house applications of moderate to high complexity.
• Own feature areas end-to-end from design to deployment and testing.
• Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and propose improvements.
• Mentor and support engineers in coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with testers, stakeholders, and other teams to define requirements and ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot complex defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and documentation.
• Work with SQL Server and data tooling to optimize data solutions.
