Job summary

Shield AI is seeking an Software Engineer II for the HMS Factory Team to help build and maintain automated testing, log-analysis, and scenario-generation tools that support the Hivemind Platform (HMP). You will collaborate with software, autonomy, and systems engineers to evaluate AI Pilot behaviors through repeatable simulation testing and data-driven performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing, log-analysis, and scenario-generation tools for Hivemind Platform (HMP).
• Contribute Python-based tooling, test automation scripts, and analysis utilities.
• Assist in running tests, understanding simulation results, and identifying software issues.
• Work with senior engineers to improve reliability, usability, and scalability of testing/analysis workflows.
• Experience with containerized infrastructure and distributed test orchestration will be beneficial.
