Job summary

Latitude AI builds autonomous driving tech as a Ford Motor Company subsidiary with in-house ADAS. The Virtual Test Ecosystem (VTE) team runs large-scale sim/resim workflows using Python, AWS, and cloud tools.

You’ll help scale the framework, improve performance, and enable self-serve analytics for autonomous driving development. We value strong Python coding, cloud experience, and collaboration across teams to advance the safety and efficiency of autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in computing.
• Expertise in writing Python code that’s efficient, well-documented, and well-tested.
• 2+ years’ experience writing scalable applications in cloud/HPC contexts.
• 2+ years’ experience with AWS and/or GCP services.
• Familiarity with NumPy and scientific programming.
• Willingness to learn how onboard/offboard components interact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize sim/resim cloud framework and Python-based tooling to improve scalability.
• Build intuitive interfaces and dashboards for performance and bottleneck analysis.
• Document frameworks and enable self-serve capabilities for other teams.
• Contribute to log management, indexing, and dataset coverage for simulations.
• Support metrics development to evaluate AV performance and guide improvements.
