Job summary

Latitude AI in Pittsburgh, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, builds autonomous driving tech and simulates large-scale vehicle workloads. The team develops a cloud-based resim/sim framework used to validate safety and performance across stacks, with offices in Dearborn and Palo Alto.

You’ll optimize Python code, work with AWS/GCP, and craft dashboards to reveal bottlenecks, empowering developers and testers to iterate quickly and reliably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Expertise in Python, well-documented and tested code.
• 2+ years building scalable cloud-based applications on AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Improve the sim/resim cloud framework and applications using Python.
• Identify bottlenecks and build benchmarking dashboards to improve performance.
• Make the framework intuitive for users and document extensions for others.
• Contribute to data indexing and log management for analysis and metrics.
