Job summary

Pathward, National Association, a hybrid, remote-office company, seeks a software developer to contribute across the full development lifecycle—design, code, test and document.

You will work in a team to build flexible solutions, fix issues, improve performance, and participate in planning and user story analysis. Appian experience and a broad .NET/JavaScript skillset are preferred, with strong collaboration and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent technical trade school.
• Typically 3+ years in a professional technical environment.
• 1 year of professional software design and development experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform required.
• Exposure to integrating Appian with APIs and external systems is a plus.
• General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git preferred.
• General knowledge of Agile/Lean software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop flexible, maintainable solutions using guidelines, requirements and standard practices.
• Solve development problems through good design and practical experience.
• Review, modify, maintain existing systems; fix issues and improve performance.
• Participate in planning and user story analysis with feedback on user requirements.
• Assist in solving business problems by implementing technical solutions based on solid design principles.
• Actively participate in and follow software development processes and procedures.
• Document software changes, best practices, and standards.
• Keep up to date with changes in tools, technology and industry standards through training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
