Job summary

Pathward Financial, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our hybrid, remote-office team. You will develop flexible solutions using Pathward's stack, participate in design, development, testing and documentation, and collaborate across functions to deliver secure, high-quality software.

You will work with Appian low-code development, API integrations, and cloud-based services (Azure/AWS). Candidates should have 5+ years in a technical environment, strong coding skills in Python,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically, 5+ years of experience in a professional technical environment.
• 4 years of professional software design and development experience required.
• Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling).
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources).
• General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git preferred.
• General knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile/Lean or Kanban preferred.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git or other source control tools preferred.
• Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS a plus.
• Ability to teach and mentor other software engineers.
