Job summary

Pathward is seeking a software developer to join a hybrid team shaping financial technology solutions. You will design, develop, test, and document software across the stack, with emphasis on Appian processes and integration with external services.

You will collaborate in Agile teams, tackle security and performance improvements, and stay current with evolving tools and industry standards. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent.
• Typically 3+ years in professional technical environment.
• 1 year of professional software design and development experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling).
• Exposure to integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources).
• General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develops flexible, maintainable solutions following guidelines and standards.
• Fixes issues, remediates security vulnerabilities, and improves system performance.
• Participates in planning and user story analysis, understanding requirements.
• Implements technical solutions to business problems based on solid design principles.
• Documents software changes and best practices; follows development processes.
