Duolingo, Inc. is hiring for the Subscriber Conversion Team to build and maintain Android features in Kotlin, collaborating with product design and backend engineers. You will contribute to a fast-paced, experimental environment with frequent A/B testing and scalable APIs.

The Subscriber Conversion team owns the surfaces that turn learners into subscribers and keep them subscribed including in‑app hooks and paywalls, the purchase flow, pricing and packaging, payments, and subscription partnerships. The team is highly experimental, running a steady stream of A/B tests across iOS, Android, backend, and web, and balances quick optimizations on high‑traffic surfaces with larger bets like new tiers and partner offerings.

Salary Range:
$153,000 — $207,000 USD
