Job summary

BizFirst is assisting our client with hiring a Software Engineer Level 2 for an intelligence mission at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and is onsite, full-time.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; 14 years’ software experience with degree, or 18 years without degree.
• Proficiency in Python and Java with Gradle; full-stack development and UI design.
• Experience with Python/Java, RESTful services, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack software applications using Python and Java with Gradle.
• Gather requirements, write, test, debug, deploy, and review code.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, SMEs, and leadership on initiatives.
• Explore integration opportunities for large language models and AI.
