Job summary

BizFirst is assisting our client with a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) role onsite at Fort Meade, MD. Immediate start for a candidate holding TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance, to build mission-critical software for a SIGINT program.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot and modern JavaScript framework skills, full-stack capabilities, and collaboration with product owners, testers, and developers across the lifecycle, including cloud deployment and performance

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or CE and 14+ years software experience.
• 18 years of software experience may substitute for the degree.
• Full-stack experience with both front-end UI/UX and back-end services.
• Strong Java skills including Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Front-end with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript plus a modern framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Experience with cloud environments and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly responsive UI components meeting mission user needs.
• Build and maintain scalable backend APIs and services with Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end with backend services ensuring secure data flow.
• Collaborate with product owners, testers, and developers to define UI requirements.
• Support deployment of cloud-enabled services.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks on client and server sides.
• Document designs and track work in Jira/Confluence/SharePoint.
