Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a software engineer in Bellevue, WA to own end-to-end delivery of services and ML components. You will collaborate with product, UX, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable designs.

Responsibilities include writing clean code, driving CI/CD, monitoring, and maintaining systems, while integrating AI agents via internal and external APIs. Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and/or C++.
• Knowledge of CI/CD deployments, automated testing, observability, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Experience building automation scripts and implementing telemetry features.
• Ability to integrate AI agents and ML components using internal and external APIs.
• Experience or knowledge using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to create technical and detailed designs.
• Knowledge of Software Development, Continuous Integration, Software Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Design And Development, Version Control, Software Testing, Agile Methodology, and Software Design.
• Ability to work with WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices is preferred

Responsibilities

• Own implementation, iteration, testing, and support for services, APIs, UIs, or ML components.
• Drive full SDLC, including CI/CD deployments, automated testing, observability, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and evaluate trade-offs for scalable, secure systems.
• Provide guidance to small groups of engineers and engage stakeholders to define complex problems.
• Define metrics to measure solution success and ensure milestones are met.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and products.
